1.1 Delivery Coverage

  1. Available Australia-wide, including PO Box addresses.
  2. Delivery services are subject to carrier network availability and serviceability restrictions.
  3. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

1.2 Delivery Options

Customers may select either:

  1. Standard Delivery, or
  2. Express Delivery (where available)

at checkout.

Express Delivery prioritises transit within the carrier's network but does not guarantee delivery by a specific date or time.

For current delivery estimates and service coverage, please refer to Australia Post's delivery information:

https://auspost.com.au/business/shipping/delivery-speeds-and-coverage

1.3 Delivery Method

Orders will be delivered by Australia Post or a nominated delivery partner to the delivery address provided at checkout.

Where deemed safe by the delivery carrier, parcels may be:

  1. Left unattended at the delivery address ("Safe Drop"), or
  2. Delivered in accordance with any delivery preferences provided directly to the carrier.

If the carrier determines that a Safe Drop is not appropriate, the parcel may be redirected to:

  1. The nearest Australia Post Office,
  2. Parcel Locker, or
  3. Authorised collection point

for customer collection. Once re-directed, the order cannot be re-delivered and must be collected.

1.4 Tracking

Tracking information will be provided once the order has been dispatched. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and collection notifications issued by the delivery carrier.

1.5 No Specific Delivery Times

Customers cannot request:

  3. Delivery within a particular timeframe.

Deliveries occur according to the carrier's operational schedule and availability.

1.6 Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided at checkout is complete, accurate, and current.

Once an order has been dispatched:

  1. Delivery addresses cannot be amended, redirected, intercepted, or cancelled.
  2. GFL is unable to stop, recall, or reroute parcels already in transit.
  3. Any costs incurred due to incorrect or incomplete address information may be charged to the customer.

1.7 Uncollected Parcels

Where a parcel is taken to a Post Office, Parcel Locker, or collection point, customers must collect the parcel within the timeframe specified by the carrier.

If a parcel remains uncollected and is returned to Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd ("GFL"):

  1. The order may be cancelled upon return.
  2. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  3. A return-to-sender freight charge may be deducted from any refund.
  4. A restocking fee may also apply in accordance with our Returns Policy.
  5. Any refund will be processed only after the returned goods have been received and inspected by GFL.

1.8 Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery, including where the parcel has been:

  1. Successfully delivered to the nominated address,
  2. Left in a Safe Drop location, or
  3. Made available for collection at a Post Office or authorised collection point.

GFL is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or tampering occurring after delivery has been completed by the carrier.

2. Big & Bulky Economy Standard Delivery

2.1 Delivery Coverage

  1. Available to selected locations only, subject to stock availability at your local warehouse or distribution centre.
  2. PO Box addresses are not accepted.

2.2 Contact Information

A valid daytime contact number must be provided at checkout.

Customers acknowledge that:

  1. Delivery carriers may use the provided contact number to coordinate delivery.
  2. Failure to provide a valid contact number may result in delivery delays, storage charges, redelivery fees, or return-to-sender charges.
  3. GFL is not responsible for delays arising from incorrect or unavailable contact information.

2.3 Delivery Method

Delivery is generally made to:

  1. The front entrance of the property,
  2. Ground-floor doorstep, or
  3. Kerbside location,

as determined by the delivery carrier.

The final delivery location is at the discretion of the carrier based on:

  1. Vehicle access,
  2. Safety requirements,
  3. Property layout,
  4. Product size and weight, and
  5. Occupational health and safety obligations.

2.4 Access Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery vehicles can safely access the delivery location.

Big & Bulky deliveries may be completed using:

  1. Commercial Vans or Utes,
  2. Trucks,
  3. Semi-trailers,
  4. Tailgate-equipped vehicles, or
  5. Other large commercial vehicles.

Properties that do not have suitable access may require alternative delivery arrangements.

Examples include:

  1. Unsealed roads,
  2. Narrow roads,
  3. Steep driveways,
  4. Low-clearance areas,
  5. Weight-restricted roads or bridges,
  6. Gated communities, or
  7. Locations inaccessible to large freight vehicles.

Where access restrictions prevent delivery, the carrier may:

  1. Deliver to the nearest accessible location,
  2. Arrange collection from the nearest depot, or
  3. Return the shipment to the sender.

Any additional charges arising from restricted access may be payable by the customer.

2.5 Depot Collection and Regional Areas

Certain rural, regional, remote, or restricted-access locations may not qualify for doorstep or kerbside delivery.

In these circumstances:

  1. The carrier may require collection from the nearest freight depot or collection point.
  2. Customers are responsible for arranging collection within the timeframe specified by the carrier.
  3. GFL is not liable for any travel costs, inconvenience, or expenses associated with depot collection.

Customers who are unsure whether their property is accessible are encouraged to contact us prior to placing an order.

2.6 Delivery Assistance Requirements

Big & Bulky Standard Delivery is designed so that customer assistance is generally not required.

Delivery providers will typically utilise tailgate-equipped vehicles, pallet jacks, trolleys, or other suitable unloading equipment to safely unload and deliver your order to an accessible front door, driveway, or kerbside location.

However, customer assistance may be required in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  1. Oversized or exceptionally heavy products;
  2. Properties with restricted vehicle access;
  3. Steep driveways or difficult unloading conditions;
  4. Remote, rural, or regional locations where specialised unloading equipment or tailgate vehicles may not be available;
  5. Circumstances where safe unloading cannot otherwise be completed by the delivery provider.

Where customer assistance is required, the delivery provider will generally advise this at the time of delivery where reasonably practicable.

If suitable assistance is unavailable and the delivery cannot be safely completed, the delivery provider may:

  1. Deliver to the nearest safe accessible location;
  2. Redirect the shipment to a local depot for collection; or
  3. Arrange a redelivery, which may incur additional charges.

Customers located in remote or regional areas should be aware that tailgate services, specialised unloading equipment, and vehicle types may vary depending on local delivery provider availability.

2.7 Delivery Limitations

For safety, insurance, and workplace health and safety reasons, delivery drivers are generally not required to:

  1. Enter homes or private residences;
  2. Deliver items upstairs or above ground level;
  3. Use lifts, stairwells, or internal accessways;
  4. Move goods through a property;
  5. Assemble products;
  6. Remove packaging materials;
  7. Remove existing equipment, furniture, or appliances; or
  8. Provide installation services.

However, at the driver's sole discretion and subject to safety considerations, access conditions, available time, and company policies, a driver may choose to provide additional assistance beyond the standard delivery service.

Neither Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd ("GFL") nor its delivery partners guarantee that such assistance will be offered. Customers should not rely upon or expect drivers to provide services beyond the standard delivery point.

Where additional assistance is provided by a driver, it is undertaken voluntarily and entirely at the customer's risk. GFL and its delivery partners accept no liability for any damage to property, buildings, fixtures, flooring, driveways, landscaping, or personal belongings resulting from such assistance, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

2.8 Delivery Hours

Deliveries occur during standard business hours:

  1. Monday to Friday
  2. Between 9:00am and 5:00pm

Excluding public holidays and carrier non-service days.

  1. A specific delivery date;
  2. A specific delivery time;
  3. A guaranteed delivery window;
  4. Weekend delivery; or
  5. Public holiday delivery.

However, depending on the delivery provider and location, the delivery provider may choose to contact the customer to offer an available delivery date or delivery window.

Where a delivery booking is offered:

  1. The available date and time slot is determined by the delivery provider.
  2. Customers may advise the delivery provider if the proposed time is unsuitable.
  3. The delivery provider will then advise the next available delivery date or delivery window based on their scheduling availability.

Please note that delivery bookings are offered at the discretion of the delivery provider and are not available for all locations or shipments.

2.9 Transit Times

All delivery timeframes displayed on our website, checkout, tracking information, or customer communications are estimates only.

  3. Freight network congestion,
  4. Peak trading periods,

Customers acknowledge that:

  1. No additional compensation, consequential loss, or reimbursement will be payable for delayed or rescheduled deliveries.

  4. Pets, children and other occupants are kept clear of delivery areas.

Delivery personnel may refuse to complete Room of Choice delivery where they reasonably determine that:

  1. The product cannot safely fit through access points;
  2. Access conditions present a safety risk;
  3. Property damage is likely to occur;
  4. Stair limits or access limits are exceeded;
  5. Delivery would breach workplace health and safety requirements.

6.      Installation would breach workplace health and safety requirements.

In such circumstances, the delivery may be completed to an alternative accessible location, rescheduled, redirected to a depot, cancelled in agreement with the customer and GFL, or returned to GFL.

5.8 Additional Access Restrictions

While Room of Choice Delivery includes delivery to your nominated room or area of choice, certain products may be restricted due to their size, weight, shape, or handling requirements.

For particularly large, long, bulky, or heavy items, the delivery provider may determine that delivery beyond the ground floor or entry level cannot be completed safely. This may occur where:

  1. The product cannot safely fit through doorways, hallways, stairwells, lifts, or access points;
  2. Access requires exceeding twenty-five (25) stair steps or two (2) flights of stairs;
  3. There is a risk of damage to the product or property;
  4. Delivery would exceed workplace health and safety requirements;
  5. Safe manoeuvring of the product is not possible; or
  6. Additional lifting equipment, machinery, or personnel would be required.

In these circumstances, the delivery provider may, at their discretion:

  1. Deliver the product to the nearest safe and accessible ground floor location;
  2. Refuse delivery beyond a certain point within the property; or
  3. Cancel or reschedule the delivery where safe access cannot be achieved.

Where delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, product dimensions, or safety concerns, additional delivery charges, rebooking fees, or alternative delivery arrangements may apply.
